Hey everyone, welcome back to the blog land. This weeks blog is way late. You can thank my overly busy week of finding out we are moving.. like now and also technical difficulties. But without further delay.. HERE WE GO! Over the weekend my family and I had the pleasure of attending the Pregnancy, Baby and Children's Expo in Sydney Olympic Park. The Sydney Expo is the largest parenting event in Australia, and the longest running baby expo in the world! So it is safe to say that these guys are complete experts. No matter what you need for your little one, this expo has it all. From cloth nappies, bathing devices, nappies, feeding, prams, car seats and more! There is even a Kanga Training stall so you can get your postpartum fitness on! We decided that we would go bright and early Friday morning for the opening of the doors. I dragged Sean, his mum and both kids along for the ride. Let me tell you now, the lines were massive! If you are planning a day out to any of the future events, make sure you get in there EARLY! Also, prepare yourself before your visit with some cash Have some cash handy as not all stalls have card facilities and most of all, keep the discount book that you get handed at your finger tips as it holds some amazing bargains.

Now I loved the expo this weekend that I had a quick wander around on Friday and then RETURNED Sunday with my good friend Carly over at @raising.a.baker. Carly rocked up to my place as we wanted to save on parking when we got there. Hint: look up what is on around the venue on the day... several thousand people walking their dogs and all parking where you planned too... oops!

If your heading in with multiple babes, please put them in a pram! Or carry them.. anything but letting yourself struggle. There will be lots of walking, lots of people. We put both TJ and Bailey into our new double pram to save us both pushing the kids. If you head over to my Instagram you will see all our happy snaps and updates from the day.

We went first to the family room though as TJ needed a nurse. Let me tell you, you will NEVER experience a baby change room like you will at this expo! They have thought of everything. There is a kitchen facility so as you can heat up bottles for your little one, there are bouncers and play areas to keep the older ones occupied and then there are private stalls to breastfeed and seating everywhere. Change tables fully equipped with wipes and hand sanitiser.. MY FAVE. The area even comes with... a baby nurse to answer any questions you have about the feeding and changing of your little one right down to being able to weigh your baby and toddlers then and there! If you are looking for a boot camp of baby knowledge, this place is for you. They run daily classes on these topics: - Car Seat Safety Rear facing seats - why and when to change and ISOFIX - will it help and what makes a restraint safe - Active Parenting Workshop Safe sleep environment, Baby massage techniques, First aid for babies and toddlers, safe return to exercise after a baby, your newborn class, - Parenting Insights Key things to know before buying cots and prams, Pregnant - what now, Breastfeeding: What's normal, Antenatal class: your preparation, preparing for breastfeeding, Medical red flags for you and your baby, labour and birth, active parenting before birth, becoming a dad and the wonder of toddlers.

Now lets get down to what you are all really here for.. What stalls did I LOVE this time. Strap yourselves in as here we go. Made to Milk - I have spoken about this business before and I will speak about it again, I LOVE this business. The cookies are to die for, the DIY packet mixes are my hobby and the owner, is a gem. She is honestly so lovely, I really enjoyed meeting her. I have followed her on social media for a while now which is how I found her. I secretly waited and stocked up before I had Bailey in the hopes to breastfeed her. Thanks to these amazing cookies helping me build my supply, Bailey has all the milk she could possibly need and probably a heck of a lot more. My hats come off to you Made to Milk, as a I eat my Triple Chocoholic cookie as I type. Medela - Now some of you may be thinking "oh so you saw pumps.. cool". I was not excited about this stand either, until Carly and I got into a deep conversation with the lady about our nipples and the way that a pump feels on them. You see Carly recently bought the same pump I had and swore she had the wrong flange size! So we spoke about it with the lady and we got given a cardboard ruler to run off and measure our nipples.. holy miracle though as we BOTH needed different sized flanges. Honestly I cant stress enough how much this event had EVERYTHING a mum could need and EVERYONE you could need to talk to. I ended up going down a size and the next day, I pumped my normal 10 minute session and the results were actually mind blowing. Poppy & Pom - Now I absolutely adored this stall. These completely handmade beauties left me LOVING them. I couldn't help but take down their website details as I will definitely be buying more. If you love handmade kids clothing, let alone Australian handmade kids clothing, then check out this amazing business and all they have to offer. Cherub Baby - Now if you follow me over on Instagram you will know by now that I have become a rep for these guys. I absolutely love all of their products and I couldn't get through my day without them. If you ever see them at an expo be sure to stop by. For scanning your ticket at the PBC expo you were automatically given a free sample pack to take home! I used my time at the stall to stock up on my breastmilk bags.

If you are interested in anything Cherub Baby you can use the code BEC20 at http://www.cherubbaby.com.au BABYDINK Carrier - I LOVE these guys. I purchased one of these bad boys before Bailey was born and my gosh baby wearing has changed my parenting game. Why did nobody tell me how good this was when I had Xavier? Baby wearing whilst amazing, is like a human knot. Trying to do the ties and zips as well as get your baby in, safely.. crazy talk. In comes the BABYDINK carrier, you simply slip it over your head and tighten.. BOOM. A baby wearing situation that I can handle before coffee. The ladies at this stall were so lovely I honestly wish I could have an excuse to buy another. Anyways, I need to wrap it up here I think. I could go on and on about this amazing event for hours otherwise. Head over to my Instagram to see the happy snaps of our adventures. Until next time, One Plus One Equals Four x
