The PBC Baby Expo was on this weekend and instead of dragging Sean along with me, I had one of our friends come with me. I was excited to check out the expo and had checked out the vendor list in advance to make myself a must see list. I set myself a budget of $200 and I mostly stuck to it thankfully! My absolute highlights were the Australian Breastfeeding Association stand, SMYLYN Breastfeeding covers, Baby Studio, Eonian Care and Madetomilk lactation cookies! SMYLYN - I came across these covers only the night before the expo. They popped up on my Facebook and after watching the owners video I was sold. These covers are so convenient, beautiful and a breath of fresh air for those of us who are afraid of the idea of feeding uncovered. I had so many issues feeding my son that I am beyond nervous of what my journey will bring when I am feeding our baby girl on the way. These covers are going to come in so handy when I start out feeding. Madetomilk - By far one of the yummiest stalls at the expo. I absolutely loved the design of the stand and after recently following this business on Instagram I was easily able to spot it from their set up video. I went by this stand and had to wait a few minutes to get to the front of the line. That to me was just a testimony of how amazing these cookies are. I bought several of the DIY packets and have already added more to my wish list for when it is closer to babies due date. The ladies at the stand were so friendly and I wish I had the confidence to take up the offer of a selfie with the owner for a free mix.. maybe next expo! Australian Breastfeeding Association - If you couldn't tell already by most of my favourite places I visited yesterday.. I was on a breastfeeding mission. I stopped by this stand with the intention of finding out about their local meetups in my area. I happily left with a year membership, an amazing book and a whole lot more confidence that I could do this! As someone who has suffered from anxiety and other mental health issues I feel like majority of my issues with feeding my son were all in my head. Having the support and supplies organised before baby girl is born has left me feeling like this journey is only just beginning. The ABA is an amazing association full of so much knowledge and love. I am so excited to start my journey with them. Baby Studio - This is where I have picked up my new body pillow.. I am obsessed already. I always thought I wouldn't enjoy one but after only one night, I am sold on these pillows for the rest of my pregnancy and beyond. My friend and I saw so many people with these pillows that we had to stop and ask someone to tell us where they were! Beyond comfy, super soft and a nice pattern to top it off. Eonian Care - This stand had lots of fun things happening! From the spin wheel to score a discount to the many demonstrations they were giving. I ended up walking away with both a free Feeding Solutions Essential Set and also a heavily discounted Electric Baby Nail Trimmer. My friend who came with me walked away with the same as I did. This is definitely a brand I am looking forward to introducing into my home! All in all the Expo was an amazing day out. I am so glad that I decided to go this year. I cant wait for the next expo to see what other goodies I can pick up. Don't forget to follow us on Instagram to keep up with out day to day adventures and check out more things that I absolutely love.
