Postpartum Fashion Haul

So for those of you who follow me on Instagram you will be expecting this blog. It is going to be COMPLETELY different from my normal ramblings. This blog is dedicated to a Postpartum Fashion Haul. Now I am not claiming to be the most fashionable woman ever, nor the most photogenic.. but here we go! I apologise in advance for the squishy mum tum. These items were picked as they are the items that have made me so comfortable and happy to be myself again after having Bailey. As any new mum will know, once baby Is out, it will take a while for you to feel comfortable again. Whether it be due to stitches, leaking (oh the leaking), the semi deflated basketball that is your belly or any number of reasons. From the supportive new bras to the denim staple I have always dreamed of rocking, this postpartum mumma has found them ALL!.

I am starting off with a dress that you all know I am obsessed with the 'Chloe Boho Maxi Dress' by Glow and Grow Aus! This dress has been a favourite of mine from the moment I unwrapped it from its beautiful packaging. It is flowy so as it doesn't cling to the half deflated mum tum, it has sleeves which makes it perfect as an all season staple, it has buttons so I can feed the demanding newborn on a moments notice and its simply stunning! This dress retails for $89.99. I am wearing a size large!

Now we all now I absolutely adore this brand. The amazing Danielle who is the mastermind behind the brand has kindly taken little old me on as a brand rep.. I AM BEYOND EXCITED. Comfy, affordable and stylish maternity and nursing fashion is something that I adore and when I see a good thing I cant let it go. Another favourite of mine from Glow and Grow is the 'Michelle Blow Bow Sleeveless Midi Dress'. I am wearing a medium here. Now I thought that nothing could outshine the Chloe but boy was I a wrong. I am a huge fan of the pop button shoulders which allow such easy access to the goodies for feeding time. This dress is perfect as a Maternity dress without being terribly oversized postpartum which in the postpartum world is a RARE ability. The fabric is so soft and the lining allows the sheer top fabric to not show the goodies. I wish I found this one sooner as I would have been rocking it all summer long through my pregnancy. Next up is this skirt I scored from Kmart for $15! It is the Denim A Line Skirt which also comes in black. Everyone needs themselves a staple skirt and this is now mine. It is long enough I can bend and do things for the kids but short enough that it wont rub behind my knees. The skirt covers my muffin top with ease which is AMAZING. I have been matching it with a range of plain tops and lets just say my mum is proud that the skirt is the length it is! I always wanted to rock a denim skirt but until now have never found one that was flattering on. I am wearing a size 14.

This next dress is from a brand named Moolk. It is a size 12 and it is called 'Molly Dress - Blue'. This dress is on the list purely for the zip at the front. It is a nursing friendly brand which I absolutely love. I find most of their items are on sale most of the time so it is easy to get decent clothes at a decent price.

I love the inner lining of this dress, so comfortable against my skin. It does not cling what so ever which - hello mum tum - I love.

Maternity Short Sleeve T-shirt Dress in both Stripped and Black. These dresses retail for $18 and are perfect for lazy days. I am wearing a size 16 in this dress. You could style them up or leave it plain. I wore m black one to Sean's family reunion earlier this month and to family photos that afternoon. This dress has a flap under the bust which gives super easy access to feed in. These dresses do cling to the mum tum a bit more than I would like but they are still super comfortable. If you are not comfortable with clothes that cling to the belly then STAY CLEAR from this dress. Also I did notice when I purchased that the size needs to be more consistent with the rest of their options as I had to size up for this dress.. If I have to size up I would normally hope it wouldn't be this tight.

My staple tees! These come from Suzanne Grae in their sales section. The tops I scored retail for $9.95. I wear a size large in these tops. Super comfortable, breathable and light I am wearing these daily! Im sure you could find a tee anywhere but these were such a good fit, price that it couldn't be passed up. Suzanne Grae is a shop that my mum has visited for YEARS. I used to turn my nose up as I thought It was 'mum fashion' and that was for some reason something I wanted to avoid.. Karma is here to tell me to get over myself as I LOVE this store now and am a regular of their sales rack. Like mother, like daughter, right?

Lastly on the list is the nursing/ workout crops from The Milk Boutique. This was an item that MANY of my followers and friends recommended to me through my pregnancy and soon after. I absolutely adore these crops and have an unhealthy collection of them. I am wearing the 'Boho Mumma' in size large. These crops retail for $64.95 and are worth every cent. Now that I am working out again I am basically living in these crops as they are so supportive, comfortable and convenient to feed in. So there we have it.. the first ever haul. I am so in love with my new wardrobe and so happy to be able to get dressed each day feeling comfortable within myself. After Xavier I lived in giant tops and exercise leggings. Now I have clothes that fit, and look good (if I say so myself haha).
